What's in it for you?
This course is based in and Keswick, where we will photograph the town's Christmas lights, characterful streets, shop lights, street lamps, traffic and people. It is a safe and enjoyable way to take night-time shots and get interesting photographic effects.
You will learn:
To look for interesting night time subjects
How to capture car light trails.
Capture interesting sillouettes.
Use different shutter speeds for different effects.
Adjust ISO settings
Who is it for?
Absolute beginners.
Novice photographers.
Intermediate photographers (looking for something a little different).
You will need
You will need a compact digital camera (with adjustable shutter speed and aperture settings) or Digital SLR. A tripod is essential, and a shutter release cable is a useful accessory to bring with you.
Logistics
We will be walking to various locations around the town, capturing images as we go. The Christmas lights and lit streets, traffic and people will be our subjects for the evening.
